Natalie Gomez and Susanne Sides have been a successful pair of athletes at Socorro HS. As seniors they have achieved some outstanding marks. Both have set some very high standards for those girls who will follow in their footsteps. Susi broke the 800 M school record with a 2:17 at the Texas Distance Festival, and Natalie broke the 1600 M record with a 5:06. The season isn’t over for these two, so we will be watching to see how much higher the standards will be set.
